Firm History

The Doerr Law Firm was first opened in 1953 by Donald D. Doerr, Sr., following his graduation from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans. During the 1950's and 1960's, Donald D. Doerr, Sr. served as a county district attorney, an experience which instilled in him an uncompromising search for the truth in every situation and every case in which he was involved. He passed those values down to his son, Donald D. Doerr, Jr., who joined his father in the practice of law in 1981 and worked with him until his death in 1988. Donald D. Doerr, Jr. has proudly carried on the family name in the practice of law, and represents individual clients and families in the areas of criminal defense, family law & divorce, real estate, and wills & estates. For over fifty years, the Doerr Law Firm has helped people find justice in the courts.

The Doerr Law Firm is located in Bay Minette, Alabama, and we represent clients facing legal problems in Bay Minette, Fairhope, Daphne, Robertsdale, Foley, Mobile, and other communities along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Our areas of practice include:
